She was predeceased by: her husband John; her son James Sumner Sharpe; and her parents, Louis True and Ripple True. She is survived by: her close friend John Sharpe; her children, John Freemont Sharpe, Jr. (Mary Ann) and Mary Lewis Tims; her grandchildren, James Andrew Tims (Melissa), Samuel Davis Tims (Ellis), Mary Randall Locke (Bryson), Matthew Sloan Tims, Mary Claiborne Sharpe (Charles Nugent) and Sadie McConico Sharpe; her great grandchildren, Henry Randall Tims and John Waylon Tims; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Sharpe and Dr. Susan Sharpe.
