He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Gooch King, Sr. and Pattie King, Sr.; and his daughter-in-law Karen King. He is survived by: his wife Pasty Walker King; his children, Gooch King, John King (Blanche) and Jane Jameson (Richard) of Brownsville, TN; his grandchildren, Harriet Jameson Brooks (Marcus), Mary Jameson Stewart (Scott), Martha Jane Jameson Wright (Michael), Patsy Jameson Cobb (Berkley), Scarlett King Hill (Dakota), Emily Gooch King Crawford (Brent), Mary Will King, Robert Allen King (Carley) and Taylor Ann King; and his great grandchildren, Leslie Ann Knox, Jameson Leo Brooks, Benjamin Crawford, Lillian Jane Brooks, Susanna Hill and Adeline Walker Cobb. He is also survived by his family and friends.

The family has requested any memorial contributions should go to First Presbyterian Church, 109 W. College St., Brownsville, TN 38012, or to Joyner's Campground, c/o Mrs. Virginia Ann Walker, 3690 Yum Yum Rd., Somerville, TN 38068.
