She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Preston Vance and Ella Mai Vance (Tomlinson); her husband Clarence Charles Carrier; and her son Vance Alan Carrier. She is survived by: her sons, Clarence "Chuck" Carrier, II (Elsie) and Thad McGary Carrier; her grandchildren, Angie Carrier, Chip Carrier (Nichole) and Olivia Grace Carrier; her great grandchildren, Ethan Wine, Chaz Carrier and Harlan Carrier; and her sister Norene Bayless (Thomas).
