She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred G. Burgess and Olive Lorraine Burgess (Stratton); her grandchildren, Gary Theodore "Teddy", Tammy and Twyla Allen; her sisters, Bonnie Miller (Bill), Helen Norris (Jack) and Florence Davis (Carl); her brother-in-law Morris (JR); and her husband Thaddeus "Thad" Allen.
She is survived by: her brothers, Walter Burgess (Marie), Gordon Dean Burgess (Iona) and Newel Burgess; her children, Gail Lynne (Rick) of Bluff City, TN and Gordon Allen, Sr. (Ronnie) of Onawa; her grandchildren, Franklin Morrison of Bluff City, Gordon Allen, Jr. (Sherrea Black) of Onawa, IA and Chrystal Gonzalez of LaVista, NE; her stepgrandchildren, Hank Hill (Monte Ann) of South Carolina and Heather Turner (Michael) of South Carolina; her siblings, Louise Larson of Sioux City, IA and George Oliver Burgess (Johanna) of Arizona; and her sister-in-law Patty Burgess of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
