He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Miller and May Paris Miller; his wife Alice Greer Miller; and his siblings, J. C., Earl, Lynn, Paul Miller, Margaret Branch, Pearl Widener and Rebecca Stapleton.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Miller Caffey (Bill) of Bluff City, TN; his granddaughters, Sarah McIlwain (Doug) of Savannah, GA and Anna Pierce (Jonathan) of Jonesborough, TN; and his great grandchildren, Vivian Alice and Imogen Pierce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
