It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerdi Wittmann Harkins of Bluff City, Tennessee, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Wittmann and Sofie Wittmann; and her husband Jack D. Harkins. She is survived by: her pets, Oscar and Harley; her brothers, Peter Wittmann (Erica) and Hans Wittmann of Germany; her niece Andrea W. Lawton of Oklahoma; her goddaughter Uscai Schoenberger of Germany; her stepchildren, Karen Rutledge and Tony Harkins; her close friends, Linda, Tom Short and Jo Barger; and her caregivers, Casey Ealy and Dina Dye. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
