He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Richard Grubbs and Lola Teal Grubbs; his wife Wilma Jean Carrier Grubbs; and his siblings, Richard Grubbs and Delores Hodge.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Jean Vessek (Matt) of Bluff City, Pamela Ann Dishner of Bluff City and Drury "Dru" Grubbs, Jr. of Bluff City; his brothers, Bill Grubbs of Blountville and Wesley Grubbs of Bristol, TN; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Jimmy, Shelley, Shannon, Lauren and Jessa. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
