She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Carmody and Ursula Sams Carmody; her husband Earl W. Cox; and her daughter Amy Diane Cox Goodson (Jimmy E. Goodson). She is survived by: her grandson Victor Goodson of Bluff City, TN; and her sisters, Dorothy Stone of Bristol, TN. and Barbara Ann Daniel of Bristol, TN.. She is also survived by Five nieces, one nephew and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
