Wilma Nora Mongold Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2023, at the age of 82, Wilma Nora Mongold of Blountville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Grant Emerson; her husband Bobby Mongold; her children, Mary Alice Mongold and Randall Halterman; her grandson Tony Halterman; her brother Richard Dove; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Lantz.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Halterman, Lorri Goebel (Billy), Jennifer Shelton (David), Linda Carpenter and Wanda Fry; her brother Donnie Lantz; her caregivers, Martha Bellamy and Katelyn Johnson; and also Tammy Payne. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.

Those who prefer donations, the Mongold family has requested that donations be made in Wilma's memory to Trinity Covenant Brethren Church 1543 TN – 75 Blountville, TN 37617 or to The Shriners Children's Hospital 950 W Faris Rd. Greenville, SC 29605.
