He was predeceased by: his parents, Dona Lonzo Stiltner and Bishop Stiltner of Arizona; and his sisters, Edna Millhorn, Charlotte Smith and Myrtle Barger.

He is survived by: his nephews, Tommy, James Millhorn, Daniel and Aaron Griffith; his children, John Stiltner, Jr. (Amanda), Lonzo Stiltner (Chasity), Dona Stiltner, Shayne Missildine and Brandon Stiltner (Rachael); and his siblings, Walter Stiltner (Frances), Charlie Stiltner (Jackie), Donna Jean Robinson, Melissa Reeves and Minnie Turner (John). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
