He was predeceased by: his wife Arlena; his parents, James Edward Winegar and Mary Etta Armstrong Lee; his sisters, Mary Wagner and Wanda Arnold; and his great grandchild James Nathan Winegar.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Winegar (Janie) and Pam Elliott (Ken); his sister Sharlene Spaulding (Jerry); his siblings-in-law, Shirley Carpenter and Jarvis Vicars (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Dustin Elliott (Katie), Matt Winegar, Morgan Osborne and Amy Honeycutt (Timmy). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
