In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Nancy Rebecca had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Nancy Rebecca may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father Samuel "Jack" Grubb; her brother David Grubb; and her boyfriend Roger Maples. She is survived by: her mother Rebecca Harmon; her children, Preston McCarty (Maggie Luttrell) and Rachel McCarty; and her close friends, Michelle Swain and J. J. Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grainger Memorial Gardens.
