He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Lee Jones; his parents, Clyde G. Jones and Edith Jones (Rose); and his siblings, Norma Davis (Jones), Becky "Polly" Schnuck (Jones), Earl "Red" Jones and Clyde "Sam" Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean Jones (Nance) of Blaine; his children, Michael Jones (Kathy) of Knoxville, Darryl and Norma "Sparkie" Matthews (Rich) of Blaine; his sister Mary "Tiny" Burkholder (Jones) of Nevada; his grandchildren, Jerimiah Lee Jones, Mandi Sims (Joe), Jessie Morgan (Andy) and Abigail Matthews; and his great grandchildren, Macy Gosnell, Colt Sims, Wesley Morgan and Audry Anna Storms. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
