He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Helen Hovis Brantley; and his siblings, James Brantley, Helen McCulley, Eva Carter, Annie Jones, Dorothy Noles, Evelyn Upton and Marlee Grove.
He is survived by: his sons, Micky L. Brantley (Debra), Randall D. Brantley (Theresa) and Jeffrey W. Brantley (Tammy); his grandchildren, Micky Brantley, Jr. (Misty), Stacia Brantley-Hill (Marcus), Jessica Brantley Peeler (Labron) and Christy Brantley Wiser (Tommy); and his siblings, Walter Brantley (Diane), Annette Stapleton and Sue Dean Copeland (Rucian). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
