He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Whitehead and Naomi Whitehead; his daughter Sadie Whitehead; and his siblings, Oscar Whitehead, Dexter Whitehead, Alfred Whitehead and Lottie Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Whitehead; his children, Lloyd Whitehead, Craig Hoffman, Darrell Hoffman and Rita Cornett; his siblings, Manuel Whitehead, Ted Whitehead (Thelma), Algerobie Couch and Mary Greene; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Cornett and Dale Haywood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
