He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Flatter and Carrie Flatter; his daughter Sylvia Flatter; his sister Lova Jane Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Clark, Jim Moody, Isreal and Teresa Casias.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Judy;: his sons, Kenny Flatter and Tom Flatter (Stacy); stepdaughter, Merrhya (Ryan) Buchanan, his siblings, Roy Flatter, Lois Moody and Sue Frame; his father-in-law James Southerland; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Seals (Bonnie), Rusty Southerland, Vickie Shell (Fred) and Clarincine Hank (Ronnie).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Legion in memory of Robert "Bob" Flatter.
