He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maudie J. Coffey and Hobart D. Coffey; his brothers, Billy and David R. Coffey of Bean Station; his nephews, Christopher Coffey and Shannon Dale Welch; his grandparents, George, Buena Coffey, Harrison and Sarah Bolden; his parents-in-law, Gail Nichols and Edith Nichols; his wife Kathy Nichols Coffey; his daughter Wendy Suzanne; his siblings, Jerry Coffey, Wanda McDaniel (Cotton) of Bean Station and Buena Hipsher (Bill) of Bean Station; and his son Liam White. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
