Melba Maude Stubblefield Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2020, at the age of 96, Melba Maude Stubblefield of Bean Station, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Moscoe Stubblefield; her parents, Harry Overbay and Anna Overbay; her siblings, Minnie Overbay and Jake Overbay; and her niece Peggy Howerton.

She is survived by: her daughter Helen Jenkins; her nieces and nephews, Phyllis Whitt (Vernon), David Moody, Jason Moody (Lisa) and Elizabeth McBee; and also, Myra Johnson and Terry Johnson (Vickie). She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to The Heritage Center, Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Bonnie Vick and to all those who were so kind to Melba during her long struggle with Alzheimer's and most recently her battle with complications from Covid – 19.
