He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scott and Allie Mae Scott. He is survived by: his wife Delores McCall; his children, Randy Scott, Debbie Cornwell (Ronnie) and Mike Scott (Becky); his grandchildren, Chris Cornwell (Nancy), Bryan Cornwell (Savannah), Samantha Carpenter (Travis), Tyler Scott (Kelsey) and Stephen Scott (McKenzye); his great grandchildren, Lilliana Cornwell, Mya Cornwell, Nathanael Cornwell and Emmalyn Cornwell; and his brothers, Bill Scott (Rae) and Gerald Scott (Sally). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
