It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Royce Rowland of Antioch, Tennessee, born in Tipton, Tennessee, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Erbie Eileen; his wife Martha "Anne" Sue Rowland; and his son Lee McDearmon of Dresden, Tenn.. He is survived by: his son-in-law Mark Boehler; his children, Dawn Boehler (Mark) of Corinth, Penny Boyd (Wayne) of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Tim McDearmon of Murfreesboro and John McDearmon (Amanda) of Murfreesboro; his siblings, Jeanette Trotter of Covington, Betty Kenyon of Shelbyville, Texas, Bill Rowland of Potts Camp and Tom Rowland of Bartlett, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Amber Fletcher (Chelsea) of Corinth, Desiree Thorpe (Gene), Steven McDearmon of Martin, Kirtsie Hayes (Hunter), Dalton Boyd (Kelli) and Landon McDearmon (Luke McDearmon); and his great grandchildren, Gregory Spencer of Corinth, Gracie Thorpe of Murfreesboro, Gene Thorpe of Murfreesboro, Gage Thorpe of Murfreesboro and Hannah Hayes of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
