She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Buford Tate and Sarah Scott Tate; her siblings, Dorothy Jean Fults, Sherman and Richard Tate; her husband Loyd McGee; her children, Virgil (Rebecca), Vic (Phoebe), Stacy McGee (Karen), Valerie Ferrell (Hollis), Velma McGee (Kenneth Lockhart), Virginia Ferrell (Jimmy) and Vanessa Hobbs; and her siblings, Linuel Tate (Mildred), Phillip Tate, David Tate (Kathy), Jewell Akins (Ronnie) and Annie Mae King (late Cotton). She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews.
