He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Joseph and Ruby LaBon Buford Thomasson; his wife Marilyn Crotts; and his sister Ruby Jo Thomasson McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Paul J. Thomasson (Nicole) of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and Staci Harris (James) of Savannah, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Alec Harris (Allison), Tori Harris, Lindsey Stevens and Aaron Mason; his siblings, Raymond Thomasson, Jr. of Springville, Charles Thomasson of Paris, Tennessee and Shirley Thomasson of Clarksdale, Mississippi; his brothers-in-law, Bobby Crotts (Nancy) of Gallatin, Jimmy Crotts (Debra) of Adamsville and Kenneth Crotts (Donna) of Savannah, Tennessee; and his close friends, Dinah and Wesley Gordon of Cedar Grove, Tennessee.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
