It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Pettigrew of Adamsville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelford Clyde and Artie Lee Nixon Jones; her husband Joe David Pettigrew; her son Clay Pettigrew; her son-in-law Steve Mitchell; her granddaughter-in-law Abigail Pettigrew; and her siblings, Nell Chambers, Lavon Sullivan, Neta Garrison, Garland Jones, Jimmy Clyde Jones and Mike Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Mitzi Mitchell (Pettigrew) of Selmer, TN, Leigh Evans (David Lynn) of Selmer, TN, Marty Pettigrew (Michelle) of Memphis, TN and Dave Pettigrew (Tammy) of Adamsville, TN; her grandchildren, Blake Mitchell, Jill Smith Keen, Madison Pettigrew, Morgan Pettigrew, Daniel Pettigrew, Cole Pettigrew, Dalton Pettigrew, Garrett Pettigrew (Tess), Preston Pettigrew and Megan Moore (Michael); her great grandchildren, Mekenzi Mitchell (Tyler), Luke Keen, Halle Kate Keen, Trace Mitchell, Jagger Mitchell, Joseph Pettigrew, Thomas Pettigrew, Rylee Pettigrew, Reid Pettigrew, Paisley Pettigrew, Ty Smith and Kaley Pettigrew; her great great grandchildren, Annysten Reese, Tuck and Stevie Klayr Mitchell; and her siblings, Betty Stocks of Lawton, TN and Sammy Jones of Stantonville, TN..
