We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 103, Mildred Smith of Watertown, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Francis and Sena Annette Meadows (Olson); her husband Donald Arthur Smith; her son James; her daughter-in-law Deloris Smith; and her brother Robert Meadows (Arlene).
She is survived by: her son Richard Smith (Karen) of Hayti, SD; her granddaughters, Jessica Vockrodt (Joel) of Watertown, Rebecca Watrel (Robert) of Brookings, SD, Stephanie Whited (AJ) of Eureka, SD, Kelly Seis (Vaughn Gangwish), Karie Smith Albuquerque (Winton) and Karla Smith (Man Seo); and her siblings-in-law, Robert Smith (Mabel), Margaret Hochstetler (Jake) and Lula Mae Haugen (Vern).
Memorials may be made to the Codington County Historical Society, 27 1st Avenue SE, Watertown, SD 57201 in memory of Mildred.
