We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 71, Michael Ries of Watertown, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas G. Barclay and Janet H. Barclay. He is survived by: his siblings, Joe, Tom (Laurie), Andy, Sarah Ries (Mark Grovejohn) of Watertown, SD, Betsy Baskerville (Dan) of Mandan, ND and Tim (Susan) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his cousin Dennis Murphy (Rosa) of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
