It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire B. Konold of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Konold and Blanche Konold (Kjelden); and his siblings, Marwell Konold and Shirley Peterson (Gene). He is survived by: his wife Wylla Hicks of Watertown; his children, Brent Konold, Randy Konold (Lisa), Dawn Veenschoten (John) and Christine Konold; and his siblings, Gene Konold (Audrey) and Marlys Overby. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
