She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Short and Lola Short (Korte); her husband Leroy W. Nelson; and her brothers, Dale and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Nelson (Muriel) of Brookings, SD, Jeannie Little (Ken Jackey) of Anderson, IN and Anita Knutson (Steven) of Toronto, SD. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
