Candice Petersen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candice Petersen of Volga, South Dakota, born in Lake Preston, South Dakota, who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandfather Eldon Petersen; her aunt Nancy Petersen; and her grandparent Maylan Peterson (Patricia). She is survived by: her parents, Timothy Petersen (Jacki) of Mitchell, SD and Mary Petersen (Peterson) of Waseca, MN; her children, Austen, Natashia, Isabelle and Tysen King of Volga, SD; her grandmother Shirley Petersen of Watertown, SD; her siblings, Jeffery Petersen of White, SD and Kristen Vanden Hull (David) of Brandon, SD; her stepbrothers, Justin Klumb (Angela) of Mt. Vernon, SD, Tyler Klumb (Chynna) of Mitchell, SD and Brandon Klumb (Lexy Rumbolz) of Coursegold, CA; her partner's sons, Simon and Isaac; and the father of her children Keith King of Volga, SD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking all donation be made to the Candice King Memorial Fund.
