We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Anna Nelson of Volga, South Dakota, born in Madison, South Dakota. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Hammer and Amanda Hammer (Eggebraaten); her daughters, Janet Sokolowski and Leann (Leonard); and her siblings, Arlin, Dale, Dennis, Dean, Ray, Lois Jorenby, Roy and Delores.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard A. Nelson; her children, Jane, Diann, Jerry (Julie), Kevin (Deb), Les (Roxie), LaDonna Hieb (Jeff) and Kathy Mielke (Barry); and her sister Shirleen Moeller (Bob) of Watertown. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
