Agnes Scherer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Scherer (Sturgis, South Dakota), who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton A. Thompson and Mattie Thompson (Murphy); her husband Louie Scherer; and her brothers, Melvin, Lloyd, Richard and Louie.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney (Maria) of Battle Mountain, NV, Larry of Lead, Patrick (Kathy) of Sturgis, Mark of Clancy, MT, Louie (Angie) of Sturgis and Cecilia Davidson (Brian) of Lancaster, OH. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established in Agnes' name to St. Martin's Chapel, c/o St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1049 Howard Street, Sturgis, SD 57785.
