He is survived by: his children, Kent Thompson (Tricia) of Algonquin, IL and Tonya Holien (Ried) of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Sam, Ella, Lucas Thompson, Rachel, Tessa, Cate and Gabriel Holien; his siblings, Nellie Green of Parkston and Larry Thompson (Kay) of Fremont, NE; and his brother-in-law Al Solay of Yankton, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
