He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron McKenney and Edith McKenney (Brehe); his siblings, Claryn and Maxine; and his daughter Marlene.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McKenney; his sister Monita Paulson; his children, Gerri Carpenter (Bruce) and Brian McKenney (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Darcy Keiser (Cody), Thomas McKenney (Somyong), Jeremy Unruh (LaVette Johanson), Matthew McKenney, Tina Brunner (Joe), Tifany McKenney (John Steinke III), Laura McKenney (Jason Powell) and Amanda Moore. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Masonic Lodge, Naja Shiners or the charity of your choosing.
