Dean Nelson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Nelson (Onida, South Dakota), who passed away on May 14, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Matthew, Scott and Lamar Nelson; his sisters, Marcia Lamb, Patricia Smith and Benni Bee Severson; his granddaughter Lily Bouchie; and his friend Matt Glanzer.
He is survived by: his former wife Harriet Adams (Gettysburg); his daughter Deborah; his wife Elizabeth Byblow (Liza) of Vancouver, B. C.; his daughters, Georgia Hanson (Phil) of Sioux Falls, Debby Bouchie (Crayton) of Pierre, Angela Nix of Houston, TX and Carol Nelson (Jay Arent) of Peterborough, NH.; his grandchildren, Andrea Thompson (David Gillian), Peter Thompson, Lindy Bouchie Geraets (Matt), Heather Bouchie, Logan Bouchie, Ryan Nix and Ashley Nix; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Thompson, Jackson Thompson, Daizy Bouchie and Diesel Bouchie.
Donations in Dean's name may be made to the Onida Swimming Pool, the Onida Volunteer Fire Department, or the American Cancer Society.
