It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Esther Gordon of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Dimock, South Dakota, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Herrmann and Mary Herrmann (Puetz); her husband Robert L. Gordon; her grandson Travis Mier; her great grandchild Elliot Mier; and her siblings, Don Herman, Virginia Hall, Josephine Puetz, Florence Reinartz, Jim Herman and Elmer Herrmann.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Gordon (Ila) of Sioux Falls, SD, Brad Gordon of Spearfish, SD, Terry Gordon (Pam) of Sioux Falls, SD, Tracy Gordon of Sioux Falls, SD and Ann Narum (Larry) of Brandon, SD; her grandchildren, Jen Mier, Katie Lienke (Bill), Jeffrey Gordon (Annie), Michael Gordon (Rachel), Mikayla Gallagher, Miranda Koch (Marcus), Lindsay Kapitan (Kyle), Joseph Gordon (Rachel), Meaghan Olsen (Derek), Amanda Lorbiecki (Gunnar), Sophie Brost (Dane), Spencer Parmelee (Candace), Maddison Peterson, Kyle Narum and Carter Gordon; her great grandchildren, Addyson, Brooklyn, Thatcher, Olivia, Emery, Jack, Hazel, Oscar, Frannie, Kaden, Kellan, Keira, Grace, Violet, Lewis, Gunnar Henry, Leo, Sebastian, Maxwell and Soren; her brother Charlie Herrmann (Shirley) of Mitchell, SD; and her sister-in-law Florence Gordon of Sundance, WY.
