With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Arthur Strand of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Strand and Nina Strand; his wife Dorothy Thompson; and his children, Vickie Strand of Atlantic, IA, Karen Allpress (John) of Parker, AZ, Connie Prickett (Jeff) of Valley Springs, SD and Curtis Strand of Mitchell, SD. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the DAV PO box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250, in Dale's name.
