It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Everson of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Pipestone, Minnesota, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton A. Everson and Fern L. Everson (Davis); his daughter Michelle Everson; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Marcia.

He is survived by: his wife Ellie; and his children, Bob Everson (Deb) of Mitchell, Steve Everson (Becky) of Sioux Falls, Doyle Everson (Margaret) of Rapid City, Kathy Wentz (Grant) of Minot, ND and Kami Bartels (Jeramie) of Brookings. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

“Hello Elna, We heard of Bruce's illness and eventual passing from my dad. I, Lilian, Karsten and Chani share our sadness with you. I want to share one memory. Many years ago, when I was in med school and home visiting, I drove Paul and Jeannine back to Minneapolis. In a conversation about academics, Paul was effusive in his praise about Bruce and his accomplishments in electrical engineering. I was proud to be one of the other academics in the family!
