Mildred Treis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Treis in Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on July 29, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Rudisill Smith and Eunice Madeline (Scott); and her spouse Enlow Earl Treis. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Beverlee), Randy (Kyle), Lesley Bossert (Tom) and Joel (Prescilla); her grandchildren, Robert II, Bart (Tiffani), Clayton, Garrett Treis (Jessica), Abbie, Nicholas Treis, Ashley Verhulst (Mike), Mary Elizabeth Treis, Tom McLeod, Gina Galfetti, Crystal Wong, Ryan Bossert and Joe Bossert; her great grandchildren, Emmett, Mallory Treis, Peter Wong and Parker Verhulst; her nieces, Cherie Lewis (Steve), Susan Busk and Candy McLaughlin (Phil); and her nephew David Gulck (Ruth).

Memorials may be given to the Enlow and Mildred Treis Music Scholarship at South Dakota State University or to the Milbank Community Thrift Store.
