He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Butzin and Augusta Butzin (Lemke); his wife Pearl Adell Mae Parker; his grandchildren, Brian Seidell, Harvey Seidell and Melissa Davis; and his sons-in-law, Edmund "Butch" Seidell and Tom Myers.
He is survived by: his children, Carolina Seidell of Watertown, SD, Paul "Sonny" Butzin of Milbank, SD, Maria Christensen (Dean) of Clear Lake, SD and Crystal Myers of Ortonville, MN; and his sister Eva Peiker of Milbank, SD. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
