We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2020, at the age of 66, Alta Lou White Butterfly of Manderson, South Dakota, born in Pine Ridge, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy White Plume, Sr. and Valencia Weasel; her husband Ivan White Butterfly, Sr.; her children, Michelle Marie White Plume, Theresa Brown, Tawapaha White Butterfly and Marlin White Plume, Sr.; and her sisters, Annabelle, Wyoma and Priscilla White Plume.
She is survived by: her children, Lesley Cary White Butterfly, Lynn Afraid of Bear, Michael White Plume, Sr. (Vanessa), Tatanka White Butterfly, Ivan White Butterfly (Stormy) and Chauncey Brown (Brittany); and her sister Ethleen Iron Crow. She is also survived by Two Dogs.
