He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Dowd and Angela Dowd (Bartekoske); his stepchildren, Alvin Phillips (Lynn) of Gettysburg, Marjorie Peterson (Dan) of Wolsey and Shane Phillips (Rachelle) of Lamberton, MN; his sister Delores Reynard of Walla Walla, WA.; and his cousin Cindy West. He was also cherished by 4 step-grandchildren and 3 step great-great grandchildren.
