It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Schnabel of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward C. Wagner and Marena L. Wagner (Beck); and her siblings-in-law, Darrell Schnabel, Ray Huckins, Judy Anderson and Darlene Schnabel.
She is survived by: her husband John Schnabel of Huron; her sons, Douglas (Stephanie) of Lennox, SD, Steve (Christine) of West Covina, CA and David (Lauren) of Midlothian, VA; her sister Marylyn Huckins of Mohave Valley, AZ; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Slepikas (LeRoy), Arlene Counts, Betty Pohl, Don Schnabel, Wally Schnabel (Pat) and Ben Schnabel (Cherie). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
