She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kopfmann and Marie Kopfmann (Pederson); her siblings, Ordell and Marvell; and her grandson Jared.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Madsen of Huron; her children, Vickie Harty (Emmett) of De Smet, James Madsen (Mary Jo) of Apple Valley, MN and Scott Madsen (Elizabeth) of Aberdeen; her grandchildren, Christina Castillo (Nick), Jamie Rivera (Dowayn) and Erik Lageson; her children, Sophia, Eva, Gianna, Leo and Gabriel Madsen; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Alijah, Grace Castillo, Atticus and Elaina Rivera; and her siblings, Eldora Hasz, Vera Salter, Kathryn Larsen, Doris Jager, Paul Kopfmann (Ina), Lawrence Kopfmann (Karen), Ivan Kopfmann, Darwin Kopfmann (Terri) and Ronny Kopfmann (Linda). She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed towards the family for a memorial bench at the cemetery.
