It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kessler of Fort Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Bruening and Lillian Bruening (Ludwig); and her sister Marlene (Jim Bolita). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Kessler; her sons, Mark Kessler of Sioux Falls and Bruce Kessler of Pierre; her brothers, Luverne Bruening (Mary) of Wall Lake and Raymond Bruening (Pat) of Odebolt, IA.; and her grandchildren, Casey, Lane, Holly, Corena, Lucas and Kylie.
