He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur E. Bent and Lena Bent (Ickler); and his siblings, Delores Ford, Donna Bent Schmidt, Charles Bent, Bonnie Meyer and Roger Bent.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Aesoph; his children, Pam Shoultz (Larry), Tina Butler (Steven) and Chad Bent (Vicki); his grandchildren, Nick Bent (Danelle Krueger), Heather Shoultz (Tanner Grohs), Spencer Shoultz (Shauna), Tyler Shoultz, Jordan Butler (Christa), Tanner Butler, Keeli Bent (Blake Cwach), Max, Chloe, Jude Bent, Kiya Hammill and Braydon Fox; his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Ethan, Brandon, Delsie, Jaxon, Benton, Sawyer, Sayler, Braxton, Ara and Quinn; his friend Alan Kathner; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Meyer and Maryann Bent.
