It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie Bowar of Faulkton, South Dakota, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank X. Schaefer and Mary Schaefer (Froning); her husband Robert Bowar; and her siblings, Lawrence, Carl, Leonard, Bernard, Edwin Schaefer, Teresa Zeller and Dorothy Zeller.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Bowar (Cheryl) of Faulkton, Pamela Brueggeman (Terry) of Marshalltown, Jeanette Shamis (Rick) of Williamston, SC, Nancy Waldowski (Dave) of Laguna Woods, CA and Gary (Nickie) of Faulkton; and her sisters-in-law, Maylou Schaefer, Leota Bowar and Betty Bowar.
