She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Luther and Margaret Luther (Meyer) of Wisner, NE; her husband James M. McGinnis of Deadwood, SD; her son Scott L. McGinnis of San Marcos, TX; her siblings, Karen L. Brasee of Grand Island, NE and John C. Luther of Wisner, NE; her grandson Mathew L. McGinnis of Nashville, TN; and her niece Sarah McGinnis.
She is survived by: her children, Michael L. McGinnis (Tara) of White Bluff, TN and Jean M. Carberry (Jim) of Carlsbad, CA; her grandchildren, Meghan M. Tavani (Michael) of Oyster Bay, NY, Meredith D. McGinnis of Nashville, TN, Kelley A. McGinnis of Omaha, NE and Mae M. Carberry of Carlsbad, CA; her great grandchildren, Madison M. Bacon, Nadia Erwin, Una, Orson Tavani, Beau and Boone Billings; her sister-in-law Sally Chisholm of Lincoln, NE; her nephews, Andrew Chisholm (Joell McGinnis) and Paul McGinnis; her niece Amy Swartz; her brother-in-law Carl Brasee of Grand Island, NE; her niece Margaret Loftus; and her nephews, John Brasee and Mark Brasee.
