It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene W. Saunders of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyall Saunders and Mildred Saunders (Johnson); his wife Geri; his sister Pat Saunders; and his stepdaughter Kathy Trucke.

He is survived by: his children, Todd Saunders (Brenda) of Dakota Dunes, Troy Saunders of Sioux City, Jeff Saunders (Pat) of Ft. Dodge, Iowa and Dawn; his stepdaughter Glenda (Mark); and his brother Keith Saunders (Nettie) of Onawa, Iowa.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Abu Bekr Shrine Transportation Fund.
