She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Grotta and Kneola Wilcox Grotta; her husband Floyd Abrahamson; and her sisters, Betty Hannah and Donna Pederson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hegg of Roseville, MN and Laurel Wengler; her son-in-law Mike Wengler of Brookings, SD; her grandchildren, Erik Hegg (Kirsten), Karin Twigg (Christian), Jerrod Wengler (Melissa), Crista Saeger (Lee) and John Wengler (Elizabeth); and her friend Vivian Bjordahl. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Lutheran Church in De Smet, SD or the Ascension Lutheran Church in Brookings, SD.
