We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Richard Hammond of Brookings, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hammond and Margaret Hammond (Meloy); his siblings, Donald, Charles, James, Luther, William, Marie, Lena, Katheryne, Margaret, Florence and Alvina; and his son Rodney Hammond.
He is survived by: his wife Bev; his sons, Rick Hammond (Karen), Ross Hammond (Laricia) and Rex Hammond; his grandchildren, Chad Hammond (Glenda), Lane Hammond (Megan), Nichole Berkenhoff, Stephanie Jacoves, Reed Hammond, Dylan Cramer, Hailey Cramer, Alexander Hammond, Caroline Hammond and Zachary Hammond; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Clark (Kay) and Connie Sallquist. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Mick's name to the Volga American Legion Post 114, Box 384, Volga, SD 57071.
