It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Harms of Brookings, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Kouf and Opal Kouf (Spain); and her significant other Ellwood Harms. She is survived by: her daughter Kristine Harms of Brookings; her grandsons, Rocco (Marcy) of Brookings, Doug (Jess) of Brookings and Joel (Abby) of Aberdeen; and her sister Lurane Schroeder of Huron.
This is but one of the ways Phyllis put down a strong foundation so that others could run on it.
